The Lantern Restaurant and Bar at Bullseye Golf Club is an open-to-the-public restaurant & banquet facility in Wisconsin Rapids. We host breakfast, lunch & dinner along with many events throughout the year.  Events range from large (150+) to small (20+) and range from weddings to golf outings, and a variety of other special occasions.

The Lantern is open year round for dining and events.  Hours of operation vary based on the time of year.  This position is 40 hours per week, with possible overtime during our peak seasonal months (April-October).

Job Summary: Job Summary: Responsible for leading the team of servers and bartenders for dining services in the manner most pleasing to our customers. Assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of facility. Supervises and trains service staff; helps develop food and beverage programs to increase sales (repeat business and higher check average). Works directly with the Food and Beverage Supervisor and GM. This is a 40 hour per week position with the focus on breakfast, lunch and dinner service. This will entail administrative and working floor hours.

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Trains and supervises dining and beverage staff.

  • Assists with scheduling dining and bar staff and coordinates set up of the dining room based upon event needs.

  • Takes reservations and checks table reservation schedules.

  • Greets and seats members and guests.

  • Carefully supervises to help assure proper service; serves beverages and takes orders.

  • Inspects dining and bar staff to ensure that they are always in proper and clean uniforms.

  • Helps develop standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and minimum labor costs.

  • Provides appropriate information to the Food and Beverage Supervisor relative to employee hours, schedules, job changes, tip pools, etc.

  • Receives and handles complaints concerning food, beverages, or service. Reports those to the GM and Food and Beverage Supervisor.

  • Assures all side work is accomplished and all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule.

  • Assists in bar inventory, creating cocktail menus, inputting menu changes in POS, etc.

  • Directs pre-service meetings with the dining and beverage staff, relays information that is necessary to service.

  • Serves as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.

  • Fulfills other tasks that may be requested by the Food and Beverage Supervisor & General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred

  • High level of professionalism

  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen/restaurant environment

  • Excellent verbal communication and organization skills

Hourly rate: $7.50 to $9.00 per hour + Tips = $25 - $30 ++++ per an hour

We are an 18-hole golf course, restaurant and banquet facility that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the golf season as well as special events and weddings all year round. We offer a fun work environment and flexible scheduling for candidates who can provide excellent, timely service to our patrons. Experience is desired but not required.

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Take and process guests’ orders in a timely fashion

  • Memorize drink and dessert menu for on-demand recitation

  • Up-sell desserts and drinks as appropriate for individual guests and parties

  • Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking

  • Maintain a comfortable dining atmosphere and handle guest complaints/requests quickly

  • Bus tables and present guests' check in a timely manner

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Operate the industrial dishwasher

  • Wash dishes by hand when necessary

  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles

We are seeking a friendly and professional restaurant host. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in representing our restaurant's hospitality standards and ensuring smooth seating and reservation management.

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Greet guests as they enter and assist with seating

  • Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently

  • Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions

  • Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service

  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand

  • Assist in clearing and resetting dining tables

Golf Shop Staff

Hourly rate: $9.00+
Full Time

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Meet and greet all members and their guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner

  • Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment

  • Responsible for tidiness and function of the driving range

  • Help keep all working areas attractive, neat and free of trash and waste

  • Responsible for washing the range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability

  • Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the bag room and range operations

  • Keep the outside area uncontested, neat, and clean. Do not allow carts to clog passage area, arrange them neatly after having been used

  • Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance

  • Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition and charging

  • Assist golf shop personnel in the tournament setup of golf carts and range operations

  • Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager

Qualification:

  • Drivers license required to operate golf carts

  • Must be able to clearly communicate customer needs to other team members

  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand 6-8 hours at a time

  • A positive attitude while on the job is also essential

  • Experience working at a golf club is preferred

Hourly rate: $7.50 + gratuities = $12 + per hour

Join our golf service team - we are hiring Outside Golf Service Staff. This position is part-time and seasonal (through the end of October). We offer a flexible schedule. ***Free golf and cart included on our historic and well maintained 18 hole golf course***

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a line cook to join our team! This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys teamwork and has a passion for cooking. Kitchen experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Food preparation and cooking meals.

  • Monitor product freshness and rotate products.

  • Maintain a sanitized work area and adhere to restaurant cleaning standards.
